I have never been a "writer" or diary keeper, but I think this will be interesting to try. I mainly set it up so I can have a works in progress that I can share with my crochet buddies. I love reading, cooking, crocheting and coupon clipping! I'll be sharing a little of each with this blog. Looking forward to making some new friends!
I guess I need to tell you a little about myself. I'm a stay-at-home mom that homeschools my 3 children, ages 11, 9 and 5. I'm very active in a local homeschool group. I've been married to my hubby for 12 years. We've had many ups and downs, but we have learned to go through any situation together.
I am also starting a weight loss journey. So far I have lost 12.2 lbs and hope to lose MANY more! My weight issues have been brought on by thyroid disease, and I'm also learning to live with that. God is my strength!
This was a new project that I had never attempted before. Bottom picture is before felting and the middle picture is after felting. My daughter is the beautiful model in the top pic. It was an easy project that took about 2 hours to complete and 2 days to let it dry after felting. A lot of fun to do!! I think I'll make a 2nd one for my other daughter.
